Recently, Tianjin Ruicheng Pump Industry Co., Ltd. supplied a double-column screen changer to meet the on-site requirements of a customer’s plastic pelletizing production line, and successfully commissioned the equipment. This production line is primarily used for plastic pelletizing, modified pelletizing, and recycled plastic pelletizing operations. Due to the complex nature of raw material sources during production—which may contain impurities, carbonized particles, and incompletely melted granules—the installation reliability and operational stability of the filtration system are subject to high standards.
For this project, Ruicheng Pump Industry customized an energy-saving and quality-enhancing production solution for the pelletizing line based on the customer’s described process requirements. As a critical filtration component in the pelletizing production line, Ruicheng Pump Industry’s double-column screen changer effectively filters the melt before it enters the die head or pelletizing system. This reduces the impact of impurities on subsequent processes and minimizes issues such as die head blockages, uneven output, and fluctuations in pellet quality.
During installation, Ruicheng Pump Industry’s technical staff carefully verified details such as connection points, inlet/outlet directions, center heights, flange seals, heating and insulation, and maintenance space between the extruder, screen changer, and downstream die head, taking the client’s on-site equipment layout into account. Additionally, based on actual site conditions, they provided recommendations regarding system warm-up, startup sequence, pressure monitoring, and operational inspections to help the client mitigate risks such as leaks, abnormal pressure, material retention, or unstable startup caused by improper installation.
Following on-site installation, connection, commissioning, and startup inspections, the screen changer was successfully put into operation. The production line startup proceeded smoothly, with excellent equipment integration, fully meeting the customer’s requirements for the pelletizing production line.
