What should I do if the Bottom-mounted pump control fails?

2026-02-27

Furnace bottom pump control failure mainly refers to the inability of its speed, pressure, or temperature to be stably executed according to instructions, usually caused by electrical and signal systems.

Main reasons:

1. Signal input/output failure: Damage to core sensors (speed, pressure, temperature), signal line interference, or loose wiring, leading to incorrect data received by the PLC.

2. Drive/inverter abnormality: Internal faults, incorrect parameter settings, or overheating protection preventing proper motor operation.

3. Safety interlock activation: Safety program triggered when process conditions are not met (such as overtemperature, overpressure, or lubrication failure), prohibiting startup or forcing shutdown.

4. Power issues: Unstable power supply or poor contact in the control circuit.

Solutions:

1. Check alarm codes: First, view the specific fault messages on the control cabinet touchscreen or inverter.

2. Inspect sensors and wiring: Verify that key sensor readings are reasonable and check wiring connections.

3. Verify parameters and interlocks: Ensure all control parameters and safety interlock conditions (such as valve status) are satisfied.

4. Reset and restart: After eliminating physical faults, safely reset the drive. If the problem persists, it requires in-depth inspection by professional electrical personnel.
