The bottom pump of a reactor is a special high-precision gear pump installed at the discharge port of a polymerization reactor, and is regarded as the "throat" of process startup.

To ensure the long-term stable operation of the bottom pump, it is recommended to carry out the following regular maintenance:
1. Daily/Per Shift Checks:
- Operation Monitoring: Record inlet pressure (vacuum level), outlet pressure, temperature, and motor current.
- Visual and Auditory Inspection: Check for leaks in shaft seals and listen for any abnormal noises or vibrations.
2. Weekly/Monthly Checks:
- Tightening and Cleaning: Inspect and tighten foundation bolts and pipeline joints, and clean the pump body and insulation layer.
- Auxiliary System Check: Confirm that lubrication, cooling, and seal flushing systems (if equipped) are functioning normally.
3. Quarterly/Annual Overhaul (Key):
- Complete Disassembly Inspection: Check wear clearance of gears, bearings, and side plates, and replace if measurements exceed limits.
- Seal System Renewal: Preventively replace mechanical seal components.
- Calibration and Testing: Verify temperature and pressure sensors, and conduct a hot trial run after major maintenance.
Core: Establish maintenance records, analyze data trends, and implement predictive maintenance.
