The core delivery module consists of a drive gear shaft and a driven gear shaft, both forged from high-alloy steel and treated with a wear-resistant surface coating, forming a meshing pair within the pump housing. The drive shaft receives external power through the pump shaft coupling, driving the driven shaft to rotate synchronously. By utilizing changes in the gear tooth volume, it completes the suction, delivery, and pressurization of the melt, serving as the core component for achieving positive displacement metering. Cylindrical keys and flat keys on the shaft ensure reliable torque transmission between the gears and the shaft.
Support and Positioning Module: Both ends of the gear shaft are supported by a left bearing and a right bearing. The design utilizes melt self-lubrication, eliminating the need for additional grease and preventing material contamination. The front and rear plates on both sides are precisely positioned using locating pins, then secured to the pump body via screws on the front plate and fixing screws on the rear plate. This forms a stable assembly frame that strictly controls the clearance between the gears and the pump body, thereby reducing internal leakage.
Shaft Seal and Leak Prevention Module: The protruding end of the drive shaft is sealed with packing. A sealing seat, gland, and gland tightening screws work together to compress graphite fiber packing, forming a high-temperature and high-pressure sealing barrier. This prevents high-temperature melt leakage and blocks air from entering the pump, ensuring a stable delivery process. A graphite fiber sealing gasket is used for the static seal between the front plate and the pump body, further enhancing overall sealing performance.
Markings and Auxiliary Components: A nameplate is mounted on the side of the pump body, indicating model numbers, parameters, and other information to facilitate equipment management and maintenance.
