Recently, technical staff from Tianjin Ruicheng Pump Industry visited an integrated refining and petrochemical project to follow up on the reactor bottom discharge pump supplied for the site. They focused on the pump’s operating condition and discussed operation and maintenance with on-site personnel.
The reactor bottom discharge pump is installed beneath the reactor. It receives material directly from the vessel and delivers the hot, high-viscosity melt into downstream piping. Reactor pressure, material viscosity, operating temperature and pipeline conditions all affect pump selection and performance in service.
According to on-site personnel, the pump is currently running steadily. Material is flowing continuously into the downstream piping, and discharge has been smooth. They also discussed matters they monitor during extended operation, including pressure changes, seal condition and routine maintenance. The technical staff then inspected the pump installation, pipe connections, heating system and drive components, and reviewed operating records with the operators.
Feedback from the site is an important way to understand how equipment performs after delivery. This visit gave Tianjin Ruicheng Pump Industry a clearer picture of the pump’s operation in the project. We will continue to follow up on its use and respond promptly to any questions the customer encounters during operation and maintenance.
